I'm going into div C, is it really that bad or is the difficulty just way higher?

Honestly, it has been easier for me than div B. But that just may be a result of me actually studying for my events this season.

I've got a similar question. Is Division C more competitive between teams? Do people work harder for their events?

NorCal also cancelled now. Feel free to update the map.

I imagine most that are left will follow Nationals' lead.

I think this depends largely on your area. In some cases, div C is much more competitive, but in other cases, div B is more competitive. While can't speak for others, I have been working harder this season in div C than my last season when I was still in div B.

Yes, I would argue that DivC is harder and requires more work. There seems to be more ultra-competitive Div C teams. But it's still fun and workload is (mostly)maneagable

Let's move discussion of event replay to the Replaying Events for 2021 topic. I'm seeing similar discussions start across many topics, so I'll be moving over related posts.

Once again, it depends on where you are. If you live in a place with heavily competitive C-division, competition is gonna be tough (no duh).
But if you live in a region with mild C-division then it'll be easier for you probably because people don't have time for SciOly nor the want to make any.

In general however, Div C is harder, cause remember when only those 2 kids knew AP Physics II for Thermo in B div? Well now at least a third of the team does.

My understanding is the national organization recommended this evening that all states cancel any remaining qualifying tournaments (regional and state tournaments). I expect a continued flood of cancellations in light of this.
