Brown University Invitational 2020
Hi there folks!
The Brown University Invitational will be held in Providence on Saturday, February 8, 2020. Registration opens next Monday, September 16 on our website: brownscioly.com
We had a great turnout last year with over 600 students from 36 teams from all over the Northeast. We hope to build upon that foundation and provide a welcoming and accessible tournament experience for new teams across the New England area. In this spirit, newly created Science Olympiad teams and teams from low-income schools will receive free registration for our event, and first-time attendees will receive a discounted registration of $80.00. Registration for returning attendees will be $100.00 with more information forthcoming on our website.
Just like last year, we will be running all Division C national events, and mirroring the nationals event conflicts as closely as possible. All events will be administered, written, and thoroughly vetted by members of our organization, many of whom have medaled at the national level. No contribution will be required by coaches or teams, leaving them completely free to enjoy the competition and Brown's beautiful campus. Additionally, we will be raising our capacity to 40 teams (maximum of two teams per school) to encourage as many new faces as possible. As always, we are committed to providing a friendly, competitive, and most importantly - fun tournament atmosphere and we hope to see you in Providence next year!
Please don't hesitate to email brownscioly@gmail.com with any questions you might have.
