But I mean like, this year Monty MS was 3rd but 115 points behind Community (20 behind Grover) and Monty HS was 76 behind WWPS (67 behind WWPN)...dxu46 wrote:Let's not forget 2017 C; Montgomery almost won by 1 pointsciolyperson1 wrote:To be fair, Monty is already pretty close to us. Re: New Jersey 2019
North and South in C have come first in States for a while, and obviously Community in B, and I'm not saying that having more bids wouldn't be encouraging for more schools, but really, the gap between them and the other teams isn't that huge all the time. The gap between North in 1st and South in 2nd last year was much, much larger than that between South in 2nd and Monty in 3rd. If South can improve by that much (or recover from tournament irregularities and whatever else they're gonna blame their loss on) by that much in one year, I really don't see why Monty or another team couldn't do the same.pb5754[] wrote:But I mean like, this year Monty MS was 3rd but 115 points behind Community (20 behind Grover) and Monty HS was 76 behind WWPS (67 behind WWPN)...dxu46 wrote:Let's not forget 2017 C; Montgomery almost won by 1 pointsciolyperson1 wrote:

Hopefully there's not something legitimately wrong with the website... I've never even seen a message like that lol.pb5754[] wrote:lmaoooo if you search "nj science olympiad" in google the first result is the njso website and under the link it says "This site may be hacked."

It's probably an http/https error, that happens sometimes with Google links.pepperonipi wrote:Hopefully there's not something legitimately wrong with the website...
