I think that was their only option. I heard that last year some people abused UNCC's restrooms, so maybe that's why they couldn't do it at UNCC.megrimlockawesom wrote:Philip o berry was probably the worst place to hold regionals

Yeah I'm not sure, but would have loved to have it in UNCC.megrimlockawesom wrote:?donutsandcupcakes wrote:I think that was their only option. Anyone here heading to the state competition? Doesn't seem like the NC forums are as active as other states'.

Marvin Ridge has always been a pretty strong team! 4th is not too far off from their previous years.megrimlockawesom wrote: I'm surprised that my team's varsity got 4th at regionals tbh
too bad im on their JV team so I can't go to states
The 2018 thread was definitely more active than this year's. However, the years prior were pretty quiet and NC users aren't very active in general.krasabnk wrote:Anyone here heading to the state competition? Doesn't seem like the NC forums are as active as other states'.

Re: North Carolina 2019
Our team just made the cut for states, and our sister school (my old team from last year, they made a new school) got 3rd so they are going as well (best they've done and I'm so proud because even though they did better than us it's still cool). I don't have high hopes for states, since, like I said, we b a r e l y made the cut, but I'm still excited! And yeah, our state isn't as big with SO, although I believe we are hosting nats next year!krasabnk wrote:Anyone here heading to the state competition? Good luck in the state competition! No matter what, the opportunity to even be there is great! It's awesome that NC State is hosting both the state and the national competition next yearjennarholt wrote:Our team just made the cut for states, and our sister school (my old team from last year, they made a new school) got 3rd so they are going as well (best they've done and I'm so proud because even though they did better than us it's still cool). Update for anyone interested in the Piedmont invitational results: West Cary Middle placed second. Still no word on other placements.
