Neuqua Valley was most likely placed in AA due to their poor state performance last year. Palatine places all the most aggressive teams in AAA based off of state performance.supercookie64 wrote:So what does everybody think of these results? Re: Illinois 2019
Yea they were probably placed in Division AA because they did not place Top 10 at state last year. I've noticed throughout the years that every team in Division AAA at this invite in particular placed in the Top 10 the previous year at state.
Neuqua Valley placed 12th at state last year. That's not a poor performance in my opinion, 12th is still really good. But nonetheless that answers the question on why they're in that division in the first place. If this is a foreshadow of their season, they should be feeling pretty good.
