Re: Indiana 2018
Until we have evidence that Thomas Jefferson has either fallen or disappeared, you cannot mention the teams best in the running for the B title in Indiana without mentioning the team that has won Indiana nine straight times, and 25 times total. You just cannot.hmma wrote:I understand, but based on what I've observed, I would say those are the teams best in the running for the state title this year.pikachu4919 wrote:Oh sorry, I guess I wasn't stating my opinion on favorites (if that's what y'all were going at), I was just stating which teams have recently been doing very well at the State level in the past couple years.hmma wrote: I would disagree with that, I think sequence has it perfect except Pennfield should be in 1st.
Chesterton doesn't even have the excuse that they haven't competed against Indiana teams yet; they were only 5 points behind Wilbur Wright at Northridge. Raymond Park I guess I can forgive, but it's a big leap of faith to not mention the defending runner-up.

Re: Indiana 2018
I agree with East. After checking the wiki, Thomas Jefferson has gone to Nationals each of the past 28 years; They were beaten at State only three of those years, and each time they still had a better placing at Nationals then the team that beat them. Personally, I would rank them nothing less than 2nd. But hey, that's just my opinion.EastStroudsburg13 wrote:Until we have evidence that Thomas Jefferson has either fallen or disappeared, you cannot mention the teams best in the running for the B title in Indiana without mentioning the team that has won Indiana nine straight times, and 25 times total. I have no regrets.

Raymond Park got third at Northmont in Ohio and 19th at Centerville. I wouldn't count them out of the top 5.Until we have evidence that Thomas Jefferson has either fallen or disappeared, you cannot mention the teams best in the running for the B title in Indiana without mentioning the team that has won Indiana nine straight times, and 25 times total. I'm sorry, but I'm just stating what has been observed this year, TJ has not made that much of a mark in this year's competition.Koolman wrote:TJ has not dissappared, we’re still going strong.EastStroudsburg13 wrote:Until we have evidence that Thomas Jefferson has either fallen or disappeared, you cannot mention the teams best in the running for the B title in Indiana without mentioning the team that has won Indiana nine straight times, and 25 times total.
