I would imagine so. I would recommend the TI-NSpire for the additional room it allows for notes.izzanom wrote:I was looking at the rules this year and noticed that it say we can now bring two of "calculators of any type

I'm fairly certain that "dedicated to computation" means that you are in direct violation of the rules if you store notes on your calculator.WhatScience? wrote:I would imagine so. So is that what that phrase means? I mostly just ignored it because I had not idea.maxxxxx wrote:I'm fairly certain that "dedicated to computation" means that you are in direct violation of the rules if you store notes on your calculator.WhatScience? wrote:I would imagine so. Re: Disease Detectives B/C
I think this was on the rules last year also. I think that "dedicated to computation" just means that the sole purpose of the calculator is to calculate equations, excluding any notes the calculator may retain.maxxxxx wrote:I'm fairly certain that "dedicated to computation" means that you are in direct violation of the rules if you store notes on your calculator.WhatScience? wrote:I would imagine so. Re: Disease Detectives B/C
What are some sample statistics questions I might see on a test in Division C? I've been looking through the tests from last year's test exchange but I haven't seen too many statistics questions.

Re: Disease Detectives B/C
There usually aren't that many statistics related questions as it should only make up about 10% of the test. The questions should be your average stats class curriculum plus a bit more, such as chi-squares, using 2x2 tables to find sensitivity, specificity, etc.Nerd_Bunny wrote:What are some sample statistics questions I might see on a test in Division C?
