The bonus can; if the rules are unchanged since the draft, there are two cans placed on the track; one offset from the track, another the same distance from the start/end lines placed by the competitor. Teams try to go between the cans for bonus points; closer cans means more points.

Does anyone know where the diagram of the track layout (including Can placement) is located. The rules mention going to the National Science Olympiad website, but I cant seem to locate it. Anyone have a direct link?

Wondering; how long does it usually take to order them directly from the store?
