Re: National Test Discussion
Hi chalker,
Sorry for this being the second request I've made, but how far ahead was 1st as compared to 2nd and 6th in Crave? I saw Longfellow pull some ridiculous scores on some other Crave tests, so I'm curious to see how far they led Nationals.

Re: National Test Discussion
I was under the impression that Hovercraft was always going to be an event in Division B, so it didn't really replace anything. In Division C, Hovercraft replaced Sounds of Music.retired1 wrote:If hovercraft is tentatively replacing sound of music for B, what is it tentatively replacing in div C???
Specifically, this is what chalker said on May 26th:
There was a significant change coming out of the rules committee meeting, which is going to start to leak out I suspect. Hence I think it best I comment on it here: it is likely that Sounds of Music will NOT be back as an event next year. Hovercraft will likely take it's place (and be both a B and C division event).
Some people are going to be very happy about this, others are going to be disappointed. The reasoning is that the committee wants to SIGNIFICANTLY revamp the rules for Sounds of Music, and we felt it best to run it as a trial first with the revamped rules. We'll be working more on those this summer.
Assuming this does happen, I've gotten commitments from many people to run Sounds as a trial event next year at their tournaments. I'm 99% sure we'll run it at the National Tournament as a trial too.

Re: National Test Discussion
I thought that Nationals this year was surprisingly good, and nowhere near as cold as I thought.
Bio-Process: Great, Mrs. Lancour totally knows what she's doing. Exactly on the rules.
Crime Busters: A nice long test...
Ex-Design: Pretty good, our team had a pretty lame experiment but we did fine.
Fossils: Completely unexpected, apparently harder for B than C.
And, I am really sorry to bother you, Chalker, but what was the difference between second and first in bio-process?
Thanks!!!
