Now that it is very close to September 2nd, how far in development is the app? Will it be available tomorrow? It would be very convenient to get the rules right when they released in contrast to waiting for the paper copy to arrive.chalker wrote:Maybe or maybe not. We still have a lot of work to do between now and then to get everything ready.tanuagg13 wrote:Is the paper copy going on sale on September 2nd along with all of the other Science Olympiad 2015 materials? Will the app be available on the same date?

No, it won't be released tomorrow. More likely next week at this point.

It's currently being 'tested' by several people to make sure we haven't missed anything. Hopefully it's just a matter of days at this point before we publish it.awesome90220 wrote:Any updates on the mobile app Chalker?

Re: Official Mobile App
Probably not. Hadn't thought about doing that. Is there a particular reason to add it there in addition to the Google Play one?cifutielu wrote:Will you guys be uploading the app to the Amazon App Store?
P.S. - The app should be available very soon now. We are waiting on Apple to review and approve it.

Re: Official Mobile App
Kindle Fire tablets and phones can only obtain apps from the Amazon App Store. Amazon has taken out the Google Play Store from their custom Android OS. Therefore, certain Science Olympiad members like myself will cannot access the new app. By releasing it to the Amazon App Store, you'll be able to reach people who use Kindle Fires as their main Android device.chalker wrote:Probably not.
