Coleoptera.
Catharidae. It definitely looks like the soldier beetles I often see. Second choice would be Meloidae, but I'm sticking with Catharidae.
I'm not quite sure yet.

Actually, that's not the answer I was looking for, although you may be correct. Any other guesses?

Re: Entomology B/C ID/Question Marathon
This definitely isn't on the list... but I recognized it from previous research, so:
Next time, be sure that the order and family are found on the Official 2014 List before asking them here.
Coleoptera, of course.
Stenotrachelidae
I've seen something similar to this but a yellowish color, so I'm gonna say it's Cephaloon bicolor.

It does seem to have Cephaloon, which means it was off list, so why don't you go - although major props to Navigator for nailing it.Tiktaalik wrote:Whose turn is it?

All right then. This one was chosen mainly for the fact that it just looks flipping awesome and terrifying.Flavorflav wrote:It does seem to have Cephaloon, which means it was off list, so why don't you go - although major props to Navigator for nailing it.Tiktaalik wrote:Whose turn is it?
