Kansas does as well. Any regional gold medalist is invited to travel to state. However, this typically amounts to only a handful of people, as roughly half of all teams advance to state in Kansas, so for example only one school sent anyone in C this year. I was talking more about why it would never happen nationally.kentuckyfan1001 wrote:however, if you do move to the state of North Carolina, they do have a system similar to what you're talking about.

Re: Robot Arm C
When is a robotics event predicted to come back to Div. C? I heard it was not on the tentative list 2014. Will it be there in 2015, in other words what is the rotation period?

Re: Robot Arm C
I really hope to see a robot event back in 2015, because i feel like robot events bring into play some of the best parts of build events as far as efficiency of design and real creativity, as well as teaching super relevant skills. They also seem to draw people into scio who otherwise wouldn't be involved, and allow combining lots of different disciplines in awesome ways.
So basically i really hope they'll be back soon.

Re: Robot Arm C
The earliest Robot Arm will be back for Division C is probably 2016. I'm guessing Mission Possible is staying for two years (2014-2015).
