Re: New York 2013
Congrats to all the New York teams - especially WM. Isn't 5th a record for you guys?
I see also, that NY, Ohio and Illinois all placed two teams in the top ten in both competitions. Hmmm.

Yeah, we haven't even broken top 10 since 2005. So proud of the team.Flavorflav wrote:Congrats to all the New York teams - especially WM. Isn't 5th a record for you guys?

I just wish we did it while I was actually competing >.>
And clearly that's because NY is the best. And Ohio and Illinois are good too. I guess.

Re: New York 2013
Amazing year for New York! Congratulations to everyone, I'm so happy that this state had a strong showing at Wright State
I don't think I can speak for my team, but I was nervous for awards. We had a few events we thought went really badly, and we weren't sure what to expect. I was so nervous. When we weren't ninth or tenth, my first reaction was But when we were called eighth, my reaction was
Our Disease, Rocks (1st! Mr. Vorwald was thrilled), WIDI, and Green teams recieved medals I was so proud of everyone, and I'm happy with my personal placings. Congrats to all, and I hope to see you next year!

I'm proud of everyone, but I'm especially proud of the Rocks kids. Even I never placed 1st at Nationals in Rocks (best was 3rd), they really did amazing.silverheart7 wrote:Amazing year for New York! Congratulations to everyone, I'm so happy that this state had a strong showing at Wright State

I am too! In Div. C especially though - Ward Melville and Fayetteville-Manlius had some excellent standings! I'm proud to be a New Yorker, and I hope I will have success in Ithaca.Shad160 wrote:Extremely proud of how well New York did at Nats!

Re: New York 2013
Of course I am, Mai; you know that! I thought the top twenty at states was good, but top twenty at Nationals is absolutely incredible. There's always room for improvement, which is why I'm going to work hard next year. I don't think freshman year is going to be perfect, but I want my sophomore year to be really good. And the next ones will be fantastic as well!silverheart7 wrote:You're not proud of me, Case? Haha I know you'll do well. I can't wait until next year!caseyotis wrote:I am too! In Div.
