Remote Sensing C

Post by Jim_R »

-The path of the Administrator is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.

-Nothing\'s gonna get deleted. We\'re gonna be like three little Fonzies here. And what\'s Fonzie like? Come on, what\'s Fonzie like?
-Cool?
-Correctamundo. And that\'s what we\'re gonna be. We\'re gonna be cool. Now, I\'m gonna count to three, and when I count three, you let go of your mouse, and back away from the keyboard. But when you do it, you do it cool. Ready? One... two... three.

How are you planning to study?

Obviously, satellites will probably be the same, but the new element of hydrosphere throws a wrench into my preparation.

I'm thinking there will probably be a bit more questions on the hydrosphere related satellites also (Aqua for example), and definitely stuff on water cycle and potentially microorganisms in water.

I can almost guarantee that there will be both a question on the Aral Sea and a question on Oil Spills.

I think you can guarantee that question for most RS tests... :P

Seeing as how the NM State test has been exactly the same for the past 2 years, I think I know what to study...

You never know, the last two years there wasn't really a major topic change; this year there is, and with potential for some other game-changers.

I'm very interested to see how the Hydrosphere is implemented. In my experience, water has had a large part in this already, with the Aral Sea and glaciers and stuff. It could end up being like Food-Borne Illness is to Disease Detectives, or something like that.

Potentially a larger focus on ecology perhaps? I don't exactly remember a lot of questions on forests in the past two years, but, as East said, water has already been a big part, so to add more content, I guess the only place to turn to is ecology.

Looking forward to this year's remote sensing event. Does anyone know any good websites for studying other than CCRS and NASA?
