Remember to keep in mind that this is all hypothetical. Japanese people, for the time being, will only compete in trial events. It's not necessary to get all worked up about something that's not even reality, at least for now.

Myh coach isn't an idiot. He's a brilliant fun genius. No, his son, my teammate, is an idiot.

Physics is difficult for 99% of the world's population because they don't understand it. The other 1% know too much.

Sorry, I misunderstood your post. But regardless, if nobody at Nationals is average, then it shouldn't matter if participants from other countries come here.

Fine. I'm going to take another point of view.

Japanese math curriculum also far outclasses American math curriculum; of this there is zero doubt.

Now, let's look at the IMO, and how the 2 teams have stacked up.

In the past 10 IMOs, the USA has beaten Japan 7 times.

Point made?

Hey, what happened was this year the ambassadors came, in prospect about whether or not to send Japanese teams in future years.

Also, about the whole subject, a great philosopher name Epictetus, said that of which is out of your control, you should not fret about. So no matter what you think, they may or may not allow teams from other countries, and unless you start a mass protest, you'll probably still compete, and more than likely you'll enjoy yourself.

You know what would be cool? If other countries made science olympiads and the internationals held in different countries. Airfare could be provided, and hotels paid for.
100% of deaths are somehow caused by science.
Don't be a statistic.
Don't do science.
