Re: Bottle Rocket B
That's what I asked. And how were your rockets designed?
100% of deaths are somehow caused by science.

Re: Bottle Rocket B
Winning time was around 28 most of the top ten where between 21-25 seconds. There were tons of 18-19 second rockets.Tramsarran wrote:So, what sort of times were there at the Nats?

Re: Bottle Rocket B
Please take this into consideration when looking at the times:
The timing stopped when the rocket hit the ground (meaning the grass/concrete on the same level as the launcher), out of sight, or it came to a complete rest. The last part is the most important. If the rocket launched up and landed on the roof of a building and rolled down the roof, the time did not stop until the rocket stopped moving completely.
Also a side note. For anyone's rocket that got stuck onto the red roof of the building on the other end of the field. I climbed up there and got them all down and left them at the event supervisors table. I hope a number of people got to get theirs back.

Re: Bottle Rocket B
It looked like a rocket, it was red, like a firetruck! My really good friend and her partner built it, congrats to them

Re: Bottle Rocket B
I think 3rd-10th place was all 22 second rockets, if memory serves.robotman09 wrote:Winning time was around 28 most of the top ten where between 21-25 seconds. There were tons of 18-19 second rockets.Tramsarran wrote:So, what sort of times were there at the Nats?
We got 14th with a ~20 second rocket (maybe a few hundredths less or more).
