exactly(: i've got my regionals this weekend, and i'm pretty prepared. how have your studies and such come along?
2009 Events: Physical Science Lab, Compute This, Road Scholar.
2010 Events: Physical Science Lab, Compute This, Fossils, Pentathlon.
2011 Events: Optics, Fossils, Towers, Dynamic Planet, Experimental Design.

Me too . . . are yours at UAH? Mine are.
I am very prepared. My helicopter flies for 30-ish seconds, my Write It Do It partner and I are quite good by now, and I am very ready for Anatomy. It seems all will go well...

So how did everybody do at regionals? I was at UAH.
Mousetrap vehicle (3rd) - should have put it together sooner than the night before.
Tower (2nd) - same
Ornithology (2nd) - this was surprising
Remote Sensing (1st) - the test was really easy
Also, does anybody know when the C state tournament is?

Cool! My team was Team Awesome (LifeGate Academy, remember us? (We were the ones with the epic periodic table t-shirts!)
Our tower team was the one who would have won but got DQ'd because of their tower size.
My friend got 3rd in Ornithology--the girl with the really long blond hair, and her partner was a blonde boy wearing all black. Our team also gold medaled in Mission Possible and Sounds of Music. All in all not a bad run for a team of 10. Edit: In addition we also placed 4th in Astronomy.

I'm from Randolph. 1st place in state as well. Although I was in France, so I wasn't there.
