South California
Technically everything from south california should go here, but I'd appreciate it if someone can set some boundaries between north and south california...and by the way, why doesn texas split their state...there state is bigger...

Re: South California
As far as I know there isn't a second location that i know of that could run a state competition.

Re: South California
Perhaps that there isn't a suitable university to run the tournament, seeing as it's quite a large operation, running a state comp.

I think it's also because we don't have as many teams. California has many more teams over a much larger area. We have less teams (I think)

Re: South California
Well, if Wichita State can run a national tournament and an annual state tournament, surely there are several schools in Texas that can run a state tournament. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't everything bigger in Texas?

Re: South California
No there are no schools other than A&M who have enough commitment to run a state tournament most of the regionals are run by small community colleges which wouldn't make a very good state location/competitionzyzzyva98 wrote:Well, if Wichita State can run a national tournament and an annual state tournament, surely there are several schools in Texas that can run a state tournament. Re: South California
I'm pretty sure NorCal held their State competition at a High School last year and plans to do the same this year. I would have to say it's no easy task to find a site to host the competition, even in CA

Re: South California
Sorry to run off topic I'm competing in Georgia
but I'm pretty sure it would cause a lot of grouping to
divide Texas Schools for State, Unless you want to just divide it 50%,50%
